Does RSC have racing seat brackets for my car?

We have a wide range of custom brackets to fit almost any application. RSC has streamlined the process of locating the correct bracket with our Bracket Finder located above. Simply pick the seat brand, your vehicles make, model and year to locate the correct set of brackets.

I want my seat to slide.

Most Corbeau custom seat brackets are shipped with a single locking slider mechanism. No additional hardware is required for your seat to slide to your desired driving position. Cipher Auto seats ship with custom sliders. The Cipher Auto brackets do NOT come with the slider (they are included with the seats).

What is a double locking slider?

Corbeau double locking sliders were designed with off-road & track drivers in mind. Many race tracks actually require you to have a double locking slider affixed to your seat bracket. This is a safety precaution. Instead of one locking mechanism on one of the seat tracks, the double locking slider has a mechanism on each track. Should you purchase RSC's double locking slider upgrade, the custom Corbeau bracket will be shipped with the new double locking slider installed.

My car isn't listed. Does RSC have a way to assist me in locating custom brackets for my vehicle?

Although we do our best to keep every custom bracket description up to date, there is the possibility we do have a bracket that will fit. Please measure from the center of your seat's bolt pattern from front to back and side to side. Once you have your measurements please email them to our staff at: sales@racingseatscheap.com If you have a camera phone or a digital camera feel free to attach them with your email.

I have a custom application and want to use a set of RSC's brackets to mount them. How can I do this?

Some of our customers purchase Corbeau's Universal bracket. There are two universal Corbeau racing seat brackets available. They come in two different heights. You can view them by clicking these links: 2" High Universal Seat Bracket or the 3-6" High Universal Seat Bracket

I want to use a fixed mount or side mount bracket with my racing seat.

Corbeau's FX1 series racing seat is the only seat that utilizes this type of mount. We have had customers purchase the side mount brackets and then fabricated their own mounting system to various other Corbeau racing seats. It is possible to combine the side mounts with other seats but please remember your finished product will have to be custom fabricated. At this time we do not have side mount brackets available for the Cipher Auto line of seats.

I have a different brand seat. Can I choose one of the brackets listed here at RSC?

The short answer is no. However, once again it may be easier to use a Corbeau custom seat bracket as a basis for your fabricated mount. Please do not order brackets for other seats unless you have the ability to modify the Corbeau bracket to work with your application. However, Cipher auto brackets work across several different seat brands including: Recaro Racing Seat Brackets, Bride Racing Seat Brackets, Sparco Racing Seat Brackets and NRG Racing Seat Brackets. It's important to remember that although Cipher auto brackets work across several brands, the brackets do not come with a slider. This means the bracket will fit your car but you will be responsible for fabricating a method to install the seat to the Cipher bracket.

How long is the waiting period for brackets to be built for my vehicle?

Great news! 99% of the Corbeau custom seat brackets are readily available for shipping. In some rare cases where there are shortages of a particular bracket, you will receive an email with the updated time of delivery within 24 hours of your order. All Cipher Auto brackets take approx. 4-6 business days as they are all made to order.
